The new season kicks of with the story of Melvin Barker a retired Postal worker. Melvin may have appeared to have led a modest life, but an unexpected discovery means he could have been a secret millionaire with a vast fortune to pass on to his forgotten family. In searching for beneficiaries to his estate, the heir hunters also uncover a tragedy in the family. After discovering an uncle who worked as a trawler, man was part of the crew of a ship which went missing at sea, leaving its 16 sailors presumed dead.

Fraser and Fraser continue to play a major role in the program, we are the only firm to appear in every series having been involved in over 200 Programs. Even after 12 series we still treat every case as a new challenge and  and welcome the cameras in to our working day.

The world or probate research has come a long way since we first started filming in 2003. This series provided a new challenge for us as we had to entertain a Presenter, for the first time since series 1 that was produced 13 years ago. In this our 50th year of trading under the name of Fraser and Fraser it is hard to believe what we can discover, and how many surprises a case can bring up.
